Originally from Durango, Colorado, I studied Architecture at CU Boulder, drawn by a lifelong love of art and math. I specialize in designing and building custom environments and displays, combining creativity with technical know-how to deliver thoughtful, efficient solutions. I thrive in collaborative teams and enjoy bringing ideas to life for clients. Since 2015, I’ve lived in San Diego with my wife and daughter. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, surfing, and hiking with my family.
After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2010, I returned to my hometown of Durango, Colorado to work in an architecture firm. Two years later, I relocated to San Diego to pursue my passion for furniture making—balancing it with roles in property management, CNC operation, construction, and woodworking.
I eventually found a role that brought everything together at Exhibiteam, a company that designs and builds custom trade show exhibits. Starting as a cabinet maker, I quickly transitioned into Lead CAD Project Detailer. In this role, I translated conceptual designs into detailed build plans, including blueprints, material procurement, BOMs, graphics production, crate layouts, and installation plans.
As the company grew, I helped establish an internal design department and was promoted to Design & Engineering Manager. By aligning design with our fabrication standards, I significantly improved efficiency and build quality.
In April 2025, the company downsized after an aggressive scaling effort, and my position was affected. I’m now seeking a role where I can continue applying my diverse skill set in design, detailing, and fabrication—whether in the trade show industry or a related field.
